Chabba

Chabba is a historic village situated about 10 km south of Amritsar. It is the place where the historic battle between Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh Guru, and the Mughal troops took place. Major point of attraction at Chabba is a gurdwara built in the memory of Guru Hargobind. It is believed that the guru had stayed here for a night in the course of a journey to Amritsar. Amritsar International Airport is the nearest airport.
