Centre for Development Studies (CDS) is a premier social science research institution situated at
Ulloor in
Thiruvananthapuram. Established in 1971, it aims at promoting research, teaching and training in disciplines relevant to development.
Affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi, CDS offers M Phil in applied economics, PhD in economics and postgraduate diploma in population and sustainable development. The college is also a recognized center for doctoral research registered under the University of Kerala.
