Central Rice Research Institute

Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI) was established by the Government of India in 1946 at Cuttack in Orissa. The main objective is to carry out research to increase productivity and sustainability of rice.

CRRI is about 35 km from Biju Patnaik Airport and 7 km from Cuttack Railway Station, on the Cuttack-Paradip state highway.
