Cemetery of Baha-ud-din Sahib

Cemetery of Baha-ud-din Sahib is situated near the mosque of Akhun Mulla Shah in Srinagar District. It contains the graves of many prominent figures of Muslim Kashmir. The tomb of Muhammad Shah - the puppet ruler who was made king and dethroned no less than four times - is located here.

The cemetery contains numerous remains of Hindu antiquity as well. The most noteworthy of them is a massive gateway standing near the entrance, which is thought to be a part of the Pravaresa temple built by Pravaresena II.
