Camel’s Back Road

Camel’s Back Road is a 3 km long winding path which starts from Kulri Bazaar to the Library Bazaar. It is one of the most beautiful places in Mussoorie and is a favorite haunt for horse riders and evening walkers. A long evening walk or a horse ride along this famous road, through cool and charming glades of conifers, oak and rhododendrons, will be a memorable experience for tourists. The charm of the Camel’s Back Road reaches its climax in the spring.

Seating arrangements are provided at several points to enjoy the beautiful scenery. From the road, one could also catch a glimpse of the sun set view of the mighty Himalayas. The sight of the Camel's Rock with a life like resemblance of a camel from a spot near Mussoorie Public school is scintillating.

Though Camel’s Back Road is frequented by thousands of tourists every year, the road is not crowded and affords an ideal opportunity for those who are in search of seclusion and tranquility.
