Cairn Hill is located at about 3 km on the road to
Avalanche. It is an ideal picnic spot. The road towards the hill is covered with dense cypress trees. This is one of the few surviving original walks in
Ooty. The silent and scenic atmosphere is disturbed only with the chirping of birds in the surrounding shrubs.
