Bundelkhandi is a tribal group primarily settled in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Some of them are also found in the Jalaun, Jhansi, Hamirpur and Banda districts of Uttar Pradesh.
These agricultural tribes speak the Bundeli language, a member of the Indo-Aryan language family. Bundelkhandis follow the basic Hindu customs and traditions. Marriage within the same caste is allowed.
