Originating from the forest and hilly tracks of chandaka, the Budunai flows through Daruthenga gram
panchayat near Alasua, Raghunathpur, Kalarahanga and Barimunda gram panchayats before merging with the
Kuakhai River near Jaripatna. During floods the river water causes extensive damage to the surrounding areas.
