Budithi Art




Budithi Art is a traditional art practiced in Budithi village in Srikakulam District. In Budithi Art, beautiful articles are created out of different alloys, in both modern and traditional styles. Brass is the chief alloy used.

Articles made include cooking utensils, flower pots, planters and ashtrays. They have patterns that are geometric, with straight lines and curves forming simple and striking presentations. Floral patterns are also seen in the articles.
