British Cemetery was built around 1802. It is situated about 7 km from
Panaji. Sited near the Governor’s Palace at
Dona Paula, the cemetery was used by the British servicemen from the Army and Railways. Around 47 well preserved tombs are found in the site. Besides this, several gravestones of sepulchral relics are also found.
