Braj Bhakha Tribe

Braj Bhakha tribe is found in the states of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. They speak Braj Bhasha, which is a member of the Indo-Aryan language family.

Agriculture is the main occupation of this tribe, with about seventy percent of the population involved in it. The tribe members also rear horned cattle, buffalo, horses and mules, for additional income.

Braj Bhakhas follow the Hindu customs and traditions. They worship Lord Brahma, Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Shakti.
