Brahmasagar Teerth




Brahmasagar Teerth, also known as Brahmsar Teerth, is situated at Brhamsar village in Jaisalmer District, Rajasthan. It was built on the 8th day of Magh in VS 1844 by Amolakhchanji Manaklalji Bagrecha.

This teerth is one among the Jaisalmer Panchteertthi. It has a beautiful idol of Parshwanath Bhagvan in Padmasana posture. The teerth also has dharamsala with 40 attached rooms and one big hall with the facility of bhojansala.

The Jinkushal Surishwarji Dadawadi is about 2 km from the teerth. The dadawadi is a known for a pond, which remains full of water in every season. Jaisalmer Railway Station is about 15 km away.
