Brahmamangalam

Brahmamangalam is a charming village in Kottayam District of Kerala. A border to Ernakulam District, the place was once considered the major center for jewellery making in Travancore. Brahmamangalam is in Vaikom taluk.

Malakkunnam High School is a prime educational institution here. Brahmamangalam Boat Club provides rowing facilities for tourists. Chempu St Thomas church, a Roman Catholic Church, is nearby.

Local buses ply between Brahmamangalam and Kottayam Bus Station, which is situated close to the Kottayam Railway Station. Cochin International Airport is the nearest airport.
