Brah

Brah is a village in Jind District of Haryana. It is situated around 10 km from Jind.

Prime attraction is the sacred Varaha Pond. Legend has it that Lord Vishnu stayed at Brah during his Varaha (boar) incarnation. Bathing at the pond is considered helpful in the attainment of Moksha. A popular belief is that a stay at Bhar gives the benefit equivalent to that of an Agnistoma sacrifice.

Jind Junction Railway Station, on the Bathinda-New Delhi rail route, is a convenient railhead to Brah. Frequent bus services are available from Jind Bus Station.
