The Boys' High School and College, established in 1861, is one of the oldest educational institutions in
Allahabad and is located on a 13-acre lush green campus in the heart of the Allahabad city. It is a day school having hostel facilities for 200 outstation boarders. The school provides compulsory computer education till class VIII and as an optional subject till class XII. BHS has also introduced the new subject of Environmental Studies for generating awareness about ecology and the threats posed to it.
