In the month of January or February an annual Book Fair is held in the
Maidan situated near the Park Street,
Kolkata. It is Asia's largest book fair which continues for 10 days. The fair offers various books at a discount rate and a reasonable entry fee is charged. Every year a handicraft fair is held along with this book fair.
