Bombay Point, or Sunset point as it is popularly known, is one of the earliest known points in
Mahabaleshwar,
Maharashtra. Situated at a height of 1,294 m above sea level, it is an ideal place to watch the expansive view of the sunset. Large numbers of tourists as well as local people throng here to watch the spectacular view of the sunset.
The place is on the Old Bombay Road and hence the name. Situated close to Bombay Point is the Lovers point.
