Bodhghat Dam is situated in
Bastar District of
Chhattisgarh. The construction of the dam is in accordance with the Bodhghat Hydroelectric Project, which involves the construction of a major dam on the Indravati River. The dam is at a distance of about 100 km from
Jagdalpur, near Barsur Village. The functional effectiveness of the dam is directly linked to six more projects such as Kutru I and II, Nugur I and II,
Bhopalpatnam and Inchampalli, and is the most dangerous aspect of the dam.
