Boca de Vaca Spring

Boca de Vaca Spring, named so by the Portuguese, is situated at a short distance from the Temple of Mahalakshmi in the taluk of Tiswadi. ‘Boca de Vaca’ is a Portuguese word that means 'mouth of a cow.' The water of the spring is said to have healing properties. With the intention to draw the tourists' attraction and to provide ease of watching fish and water, a glass flooring has been fixed at this place during renovation.
