Bira

Bira lies 9 km north of Ajaygarh, in Panna District of Madhya Pradesh. It is located towards the northern border of the district with Chhatarpur District.

Bira is one of the most promising areas for multicolor and black granites in the state. ‘Jhansi Red’ and ‘Fortune Red’ are the famous stones mined from this area.

Civil Airport Khajuraho and Satna Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station.
