Bir, at a height of 6,900 feet, is a village in the lap of the
Himalayas in
Kangra District. This holiday destination lies between
Palampur(24 km) and
Joginder Nagar. It serves as a base for hang and paragliders. The beauty of the area is enhanced by the tea plantations and the scenic
Kangra Valley surrounding it.
