Mahabilva Keshwar Temple



Billawar Shiva Temple, formerly known as Hari-Hara Temple, is a highly revered shrine located at Billawar in Kathua District of Jammu and Kashmir.

The temple is also called Mahabilva Keshwar Temple, as the place is rich in bilva trees. It is noted for its 60 ft high steeple, over a square sanctum.

This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Other deities worshipped here are Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Shiva (5-headed), Lord Ganesh and Lord Bhairav.
