Bilga




Situated about 14 km west of Phillaur in Jalandhar District, Bilga is an ancient village in Punjab. This village is associated with Guru Arjan, the fifth Sikh guru and the Gurdwara Panjviri Patshahi has been built here in his honor. This gurdwara showcases the sacred relics of Guru Arjan such as his gown, handkerchief, shawl and a purse. The large sized paintings here, illustrating the scenes from Sikh history, are also worth seeing. Every year in July, a fair is held here which is attended by a large number of devotees. Ludhiana Airport is the nearest airport.
