Bijepur is a village in Padampur sub-division, situated about 26 km south-east of
Baragarh, in
Orissa. It was the erstwhile headquarters of a Zamindari known as Uttal-Baisi. Bijepur is renowned for its shawls, garments, bedsheets and traditional mats. The village is inhibited mainly by cultivators and weavers.
Bargarh Road Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Raipur Airport is about 240 km from Baragarh.
