Bhuvaraha Narasimha Temple




Bhuvaraha Narasimha Temple is situated at Halasi in Khanapur taluk of Belgaum District. The temple is devoted to Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is a magnificent huge temple complex built in the later Chalukyan style, which has tall images of Narasimha, Narayana and Surya. Nearby attractions include a fort and also the temples of Gokarneshwara, Kapileshwara, Swarneshwara and Hatakeshwara.

Halasi is situated about 14 km away from Khanapur town. The nearest railway station and airport are at Belgaum and Goa respectively.
