Bhungarni

Bhungarni, one of the famous Sikh sites in Punjab, is a beautiful village located about 20 km south of Hoshiarpur. Located on the right bank of the Bist Doab canal, this place is ideal for nature lovers. Association with Guru Har Rai, the seventh Sikh guru, who visited this region in the course of his journey from Kiratpur and Kartarpur, assigns holiness to this place. Bhungarni has the historic Gurdwara Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji Patshahi VII, built in honor of Guru Har Rai. This gurdwara is known for special divans arranged on the first of each Bikrami month. During Baisakhi Festival, thousands of devotees from every nook and corner of the region throng Bhungarni.
