Bhun lies few kilometers off the National Highway 17, on the outskirts of Rajpura, in Ratnagiri District. It is about 20 km south of Lanja and 8 km from Rajpura. Ratnagiri - the district headquarters – is 30 km towards north-west.
Parashuram Temple, Dhutpapeshwar Temple, Rajapur Ganga and Ganpatipule are places of tourist interest around.
