Bhotbagan

Bhotbagan is a place which forms part of Ghusuri in Howrah. The word ‘Bhotbagan’ means a Tibetan garden. The area derives its name from an old Tibetan temple or monastery here, called the Bhot-Mandir or Bhot-Math. The building was erected by Warren Hastings at the request of the Tashi lama of Tibet.
