Bhitauli is located on the banks of the Soti River, in
Bara-Banki District of
Uttar Pradesh. It was the nerve center of freedom movement in 1857-1858 and witnessed an eventful battle between Raja Guru Bux Singh and British. Points of interest include a fort. Bhitauli is declared as one of the places on the protected historical heritage list.
