Bhisma Tila is a hill located at
Jahnudvipa, one among the nine islands of
Navadvipa. According to legend,
Bhishma, the son of King Santanu, was born at this place.
Bhishma is said to have visited this place to see his maternal grandfather, Jahnu Muni, and built a small hut near the muni’s abode.
