Bhira




Located in Kheri District, Bhira is a beautiful town strategically situated near Kishanpur Sanctuary. It is a part of the warm, tropical forests of the terai, in the foothills of the Himalayas. Agriculture is the main occupation. Bhira lies 12 km north of Ambara and 16 km south-west of Palia.

Nearby attractions include Kishanpur Sanctuary and Dudhwa National Park.

Being on the state highway, Bhira is connected to all parts of the state. It is around 81 km from Shahjahanpur, 120 km from Bareilly and 200 km from Lucknow.
