Located in
Kheri District, Bhira is a beautiful town strategically situated near
Kishanpur Sanctuary. It is a part of the warm, tropical forests of the terai, in the foothills of the
Himalayas. Agriculture is the main occupation. Bhira lies 12 km north of
Ambara and 16 km south-west of Palia.
