Bhim Kund

Bhim Kund, 3,500 ft, is a sacred lake in Amaravati District. It is located to the south of Alladhoh village, on the way from Pratwada to Chikaldara. According to legends, Bhim killed a demon named Kichak here, for insulting Draupadi. After throwing Kichak's body in a valley (Chikaldara), Bhim bathed here - hence the name. During rainy season, the spot is attractive with a fascinating waterfall.
