Bhikan Shah was a Sufi saint of great repute. He is one of the distinguished Muslim saints whose hymns have been included in the Guru Granth Sahib. The holy book includes two of his compositions.
Bhikan Shah was considered a very learned man. He greatly believed in the utterance of the lord’s name. According to him, chanting god’s name will relieve a person of the diseases afflicting the mind and body.
