Bheta lies right on Latur District’s western border with Osmanabad District, in Maharashtra. Ikurka is situated north of Bheta, while Bhada is south-east.
The historic fort and the 300 year old Virnath Maharaj temple at Ausa and the temples of Ramlingeswar, Bhuteswar and Keshavraj and the Darga of Surat Shahvalli are tourist sites in Latur.
