Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University's Dental College is the first private dental college in
Maharashtra to be recognized by the Dental Council of India. It is situated in Katraj-Dhankawadi Campus on Pune-Satara Road in
Pune city.
The college offers graduate (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) and post graduate courses (Master of Dental Surgery) in dental education. The post graduate course specializes in prosthodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, conservative dentistry, oral pathology and microbiology, and period ontology. Research is a part of post graduate training. The research projects are handled in association with Interactive Research School of Health Affairs (IRSHA), a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.
There is well equipped infrastructure with modern techniques and patient simulation systems. The library is interconnected with British Council Library (Pune) and other medical institutions. The dental hospital imparts clinical training to the students.
