Bharat Itihasa Samshodhaka Mandala Museum




Bharat Itihasa Samshodhaka Mandala Museum is an archeological museum situated at Pune, in Maharashtra. Established in 1910, the museum showcases a rich collection of antiquities including miniature paintings, sculptures, copper plates and stone inscriptions. Marathi, Hindi, Sanskrit, Kannada and Persian manuscripts, arms, excavated antiquities, maps, old costumes, playing cards, ivory playing cards, portraits of Maratha rulers and paintings are also on display.

The museum also has excellent library facilities. The museum is open from 08:30 to 11:30 hrs and 16:00 to 20:00 hrs on all days except Thursdays and public holidays.
