Bhalvani

Bhalvani lies en route from Ahmednagar to Takli Dhokeshwar, in Ahmednagar District. It is about 20 km west of the district headquarters and around 30 km east of Savargaon. Pune is 110 odd kilometers to the south-west. The historic Mughal edifices and Ahmednagar Fort at Ahmednagar, Seclusion Hill and Mula Dam are some tourist sites within easy access from Bhalvani. Kalasubai Harischandragad Wildlife Sanctuary near Akola is a popular wildlife getaway, about 50 km towards the north-west. Pune Lohegaon Airport and Ahmednagar Railway Station serve Bhalvani.
