Bhaktivinoda Thakur’s House




Bhaktivinoda Thakur’s House is located on the banks of Jalangi River at Godrumadvipa, one among the nine islands in Navadvipa. It is a place associated with the Gaudiya Vaishnava sect.

It is a bhajana kutir of Bhaktivinoda Thakur, who established worship of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's in Mayapur. Bhaktivinoda Thakur re-established the pure Vaisnava doctrine by expounding the teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

The place also holds the samadhi of Bhaktivinoda Thakur and a temple. Hoolar Ghat is situated nearby.
