Bhaja




Bhaja is a picturesque locale near Bedsa and is just 12 km from the hill station of Lonavala, in Pune District. The place is famous as the home to the historic Bhaja Caves that dates back to the 2nd century B C. Pune, the district headquarters, is about 60 km south-east of Bhaja.

Bhisapur Fort standing atop Bhaja hill is worth paying a visit. Karla Caves, Bedsa Caves, the hills stations of Khandala and Kamshet, and Nethersole Dam are prominent tourist places accessible Bhaja.
