Bhaini Bagha

Bhaini Bagha, an ancient village situated about 10 km north of Mansa, is famous as a Sikh site. Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, has sanctified this village with his presence. It is believed that the guru had halted at Bhaini Bagha, to get the stirrup of his horse mended here. The guru was on his journey to Dikkh from Khiala. Later, a gurdwara in the shape of a platform was raised at the spot where the guru had stayed. Built in 1970, this gurdwara and its premises cover an area of 2 acres. The nearest railway station is located at Mansa and Ludhiana Airport is the nearest airport.
