Bhagalpur Museum, established in 1970, is situated at
Bhagalpur, and 230 km east of
Patna, in
Bihar. The museum exhibits ancient stone and bronze sculptures, terracotta, coins, manuscripts, rocks and minerals, fossils and arms and weapons.
Bhagalpur Museum is open from 10:00 to 17:00 hrs on all days except Mondays and public holidays. Photography is allowed upon obtaining permission from the director.
Bhagalpur Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
