Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary




Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Nadia District of West Bengal. It is 22 km from Krishnanagar.

Established in 1980, it is spread over an area of 65 hectares. The sanctuary is mostly in­habited by various species of deer. Major animal species found here include spotted deer, jackal, Bengal fox, porcupine, common langur, parakeet, Indian cuckoo, barbets and large pythons.

Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary is open from 8:00 to 16:00 hrs. Bethuadahari can be reached by Lalgola-Sealdah Passenger or Bhagirathi Express from Sealdah. The nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport.
