Benog Observatory

Benog Observatory is situated on Benog Hills, 10 km from Mussoorie in Pauri Garhwal District. It was built by Waugh. Now it is in a ruined condition. This spot presents an excellent view of the snow-clad peaks all around. It is an ideal base for trekking and mountaineering.

Library Bazaar, Lal Tibba, Bhatta Falls and the Municipal Gardens are nearby interesting destinations.

Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport. The nearest railway station is at Dehradun. Benog is connected by road to Mussoorie.
