Benog Hills

Benog Hills is situated nine km from Mussoorie in Pauri Garhwal District. It lies at an elevation of 2,104 meters and is surrounded by thick forests. Jwalaji Temple is the prime attraction here, which is located at the hill top. The hill offers marvelous views of Himalayan peaks, Doon valley and Yamuna valley. It is a comfortable base for trekkers and mountaineers. Some of the nearby destinations are Nag Devta Temple, Mossey Fall, Mussoorie Lake, Bhadraj Temple and Sir George Everest house. Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport. The nearest railway station is at Dehradun.
