Benapur

Benapur lies around 9 km south of Kharagpur, in Midnapore District. Narayangarh is south and Jakpur, a small village famous for roses, is to the north-east.

St Mary's Cathedral, Jagganath temple, Kanak Durga Mandir and Malleshwar Temple are some options for spiritual excursions.

Vidyasagar Smriti Bhavan Sangrahasala and Kalaikunda are other places of tourist interest.
