Beeravara Betta is a largely unknown and unexplored hill situated off Hassan / Mangalore Road, 44 km from Bangalore in Karnataka. This place is easily accessible and is located just a km off the National Highway.
Beeravara Betta is home to Lord Lakshmi Ranganatha Temple at the top of the hillock. Devotees must take a flight of 100 stairs to reach this holy temple. This rural area, surrounded by a vast belt of small rocky hills and a quaint hillock at the northern end, makes it a perfect setting for an enjoyable outing.
No direct buses are available to Beeravara from Bangalore. Visitors can travel to Nelamangala or Solur, and use local transport from there to reach Beeravara. Bangalore International Airport serves this area. Bangalore Cantonment is the nearest major railway station.
