Bedsa




Bedsa is a famous tourist spot in Pune District of Maharashtra. It is located 10 miles south of Karle, close to the Kamshet Railway Station near which the New Pune-Bombay Express highway is being constructed. The place is renowned for its historic caves belonging to 60 BC. A number of sculptures and pillars have been discovered on this site. They are a classic example of early Buddhist architecture. This hilly area is ideal for long walk. Bedsa also holds the famous Chaitya Hall.
