Batmooji River originates from the glaciers in the
Shamsbari Mountain. It gushes through the steep mountains and flows through the
Karnah taluk.
This river is the main source for the irrigation from Nachiyan to Teetwal (Karnah). Batmooji joins into the Pohru stream which flows into the Wular Lake.
