Basti Sheikh Darvesh

Basti Sheikh Darvesh, popularly known as Basti Sheikh, is a small residential area on the suburb of Jalandhar. It was founded by Sheikh Darvesh and Ansari Sheikh from Kani Kuram in 1614.

This place was blessed with the visit of the 6th Sikh guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib. A gurdwara, Gurdwara Chhevin Padshahi, has been built here in memory of the guru.

Jalandhar City Railway Station and Jalandhar Cantonment Railway Station are the nearby railheads.
