Located on the banks of the
Ghaghra (Saryu), Baskhari is a small village of
Ambedkarnagar District. It is 28 km from Akbarpur. Devhat and Hanswar are two attractive lakes here.
The Azamgarh-Akbarpur-Faizabad Highway passes through this village. Akbarpur is the nearest town which has good road and rail communication with the rest of the state.
